UNDERSTANDING THE PROCESS TO ACCESS HEAVEN

Matthew 6:1-8

The two tenets discussed in this chapter is very important in our daily walk with and work for God as Christians. Giving to the needy and praying to the Father.  

The First defines our service to a fellow brethren, the latter is the connector of our daily relationship with God. I have said on numerous fronts that when we read, study or listen to God’s word, He is talking to us but when we pray, we are  talking to Him.

PROCESS IS FAR IMPORTANT THAN THE GIFT

Most of us might have been knitted to the modern trend of showing off though not new, as seen in today’s scripture. We are encourage to give with courtesy and discreet.
That is the only way, it is acceptable to God. Blowing your own trumpet is as devilish as satan himself.

Jesus is in no way discouraging giving but defining the acceptable PROCESS. Our act of service as brethren should go beyond size of gift, this process includes 

OUR MINDSET(1 Cor 13:2), 

MOTIVES(John 5:43) 

AND MANNER(1 John 2:29)  of Giving. Mark 12:41-44, 1 Sam 2:3

This message is strictly to believers(Christ Disciples). Though, there are many abridge version of this commandment yet we are to stand aloft in the midst of this perversion.

PERSONAL PRAYER IS DEVOTION NOT COMMOTION

I must be factual with you on this, what Jesus is discussing here is not congregational prayer but personal devotion.
There have been many arguments on this text, which have led many to stop praying in the church.
Personal Prayer should not be commotion but a devotional time to access heaven.

Today Chri-stain (not Christian) are fond of disturbing the environment with their noise. What a renown preacher called holy noise, may you not be a noise maker in the heaven’s hear in Jesus name.

Shouting in the street does not threaten the devil as perfect communication of God's word on the altar of prayer will do.

Some prayers are showing your fear of the devil than expressing your conviction of the mighty power of God.
Some Christians are nothing more than a comedian when they are preying instead of praying.
Your prayer should exceed the concerns for the enemy but more of wedging your believers authority.

The devil is but a fool when the tool of prayer is deployed effectively and perfectly.

What then is the perfect model of personal prayer,
-  it should be definite not stories,
-  it should be in agreement to God’s standard, 1 John 5:14,
-  it is pouring your mind to God not man,
-  it is impressing or claiming what He has said concerning you
- it is controlling the physical through the spiritual as we discovered in verse 9-13.
