NO ONE SHOULD DECEIVE YOU

"Jesus began to say to them, “See to it that no one deceives you" (Mark 13:5).

Every believer is personally responsible before God for his spiritual development and health. Truly, God has given us pastors and other ministers as gifts to tutor us, doctor us, encourage us and guide us for a successful spiritual journey. But the greater truth is that each man is ultimately in charge of his own spiritual life and what he allows is what will obtain. Jesus said you have to "see to it" that you are not misled. In other words, you must not allow anyone to deceive you. You have a duty to yourself to see to it that you are spiritually healthy and properly fortified. The clear message of God to you at this hour is to take responsibility for your spiritual wellbeing.

DON'T DARE IT..EXTREMELY DANGEROUS

"Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set" (Proverbs 22:28).

One of the very essential skills you must learn in order to succeed and maximize your opportunities in life is the art of making strategic changes at the appropriate time. Sometimes, life is like the game of football, where the successful and winning coach is the one who knows when and how to make critical changes at the appropriate time. For example, you must learn how to change from ideas and attitudes that are unprofitable to concepts that yield quality dividends. Whether we are talking about personal health, family, business or career, the winning individual is the one who has perfected the art of changing from what does not work to what works.

TWELVE CHRISTIANS BEHEADED WHEN THEY REFUSED TO DENY JESUS

Muslims in a village outside of Aleppo, Syria, conducted a brutal murder of twelve Christians after they all refused to convert to Islam. They took a 12 year old Christian boy and ordered him to convert to Islam, and when he refused they cut his fingers off. They then took two women and raped them in front of the Christians. They took three Christians and crucified them before beheading the rest, including the women and 12 year old boy. Before they were slaughtered the Christians cried, “Jesus!” and the Lord’s Prayer. Here is the report:
This is what Christians are suffering in Syria and Iraq. Right now we are working on rescuing Christians in Iraq and bringing out of Iraq, and things look very promising right now. Please help us complete this mission and rescue Christians who are suffering under ISIS’ reign of terror.

IT IS A MIRACLE - SOLA MIKE AGBOOLA

IT'S A MIRACLE!
I arrived the ultra modern chapel of Bowen University, Osun State, Nigeria as a guest speaker at a Christian Leadership Conference. Hardly had I settled into my seat than I began to admire the hall. Even though it was not my first time in that same hall, I was still awed by the size and beauty of the architectural masterpiece. As I absorbed the beauty of the auditorium, I saw another beauty in between the pews. It was a beautiful girl who strolled around gingerly on her little feet. She should be about a year old. Her cuteness and baby innocence kept my eyes glued to her. For a moment, I almost forgot I was there to speak to close to a thousand leaders who had gathered in the auditorium.
After a short while, a woman walked up to my 'baby friend' and carried her in her arms.

IS PAUL A FALSE CHRIST - FEMI ARIBISALA

AFTER READING THIS MATERIAL, I ASKED MYSELF IF THIS MAN IS A CHRISTIAN OR AN ATTENTION SEEKER. LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHT AFTER READING THIS....A.T JOEL
By Femi Aribisala

Paul seduces Christians from following Jesus into following him.
Jesus warns: “False christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But be on guard; I have told you all things beforehand.” (Mark 13:22-23).
Paul performed many signs and wonders. (Acts 19:12). Today, the word of Paul is presumed to be the word of Jesus. Indeed, Christians use Paul’s word to preach far more than that of Jesus. Can Paul be one of the “false christs” Jesus warns us about? The evidence suggests so.

SPIRITUAL OPTIMISM

Spiritual Optimism

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with a dagger, spear, and sword, but I come against you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel’s armies, you have defied Him. Today, the Lord will hand you over to me.”—1 Samuel 17:45–46a
David was certainly an optimist! Regardless of his circumstances, David could always see God's activity! A pessimist focuses on the problems, concentrating on the reasons why something cannot be done. The optimist sees those same problems, but he sees them from the perspective of God's presence.

My brothers, if any among you strays from the truth, and someone turns him back, he should know that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his life from death and cover a multitude of sins.—James 5:19–20

ASKING FOR MOUNTAINS

“Now give me this hill country the Lord promised [me] on that day, because you heard then that the Anakim are there, as well as large fortified cities. Perhaps the Lord will be with me and I will drive them out as the Lord promised.”—Joshua 14:12

LEARN TO DO WELL

"Learn to do well" (Isaiah 1:17).

We can learn to do the right thing. We can learn to do good at all times. If it were not so, the all-knowing God would not have required us to learn to do well. By the power of God, we can be delivered from whatever has bound us to doing the wrong things. Friends, you can unlearn the evil things you have become accustomed to doing. We all can learn to take pleasure in well doing. We can learn to to fear the Lord (Deuteronomy 4:10). We can learn to be pleasant and peaceable. We can "learn to maintain good works" (Titus 3:14). The disciples in Antioch learnt under the teaching of Barnabas and Saul until they began to behave in the exact ways Jesus Christ behaved. Onlookers had no choice other than to label them "Christ-likes" or "Christians" (Acts 11:26).

IT IS FOOLISH TO BE FOOLISH

"Woe to those who live only for today,
indifferent to the fate of others!
Woe to the playboys, the playgirls,
who think life is a party held just for them!" (Amos 6:4-5, The Message).

There is always need for balance in life. God's word admonishes us to live free of anxieties about tomorrow. That is good for our health and the health of our today. Please read Matthew 6:25-34. But the Bible does not teach against planning for tomorrow. It is true that the Bible says tomorrow will take care of itself, but that is also because we have put appropriate things in place to enable tomorrow take care of itself. Having anxieties or worrying is not the same thing as planning. The latter is positively productive while the former is not only useless but tends to multiply problems for today and tomorrow.

IT MAY BE GOOD YET NOT RIGHT

"And
Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God" (2 Chronicles 14:2).

One of the strange truths of life is that it is not every good thing that is right. I have heard it said that "If it is good, it is God". That may not always be true because it may be good and not right. That you feel good about a thing does not make that thing right. Honey will always taste good in your mouth regardless of who owns it. The taste of the pudding is in the eating and not in the ownership. So, the fact that another man's honey is sweet in my mouth does not make it right for me to take what does not belong to me.

MY LITTLE SECRET

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel" (Romans 2:16).

A secret is defined as knowledge that is hidden. In the definition itself is a subtle contradiction because once you refer to something as "knowledge", there is really nothing secret about it anymore. At the best therefore, we could say that a secret is something hidden from the knowledge of some persons. It is only to those persons from whom it is hidden that it could be called a secret. The point therefore is that it is a waste of time to fool yourself thinking that you have some secrets somewhere. There is really nothing of such.

AS OLD AS MAN

"But Samson's wife was given to the friend who had been his best man" (Judges 14:20, Bible in Basic English).

A betrayal occurs when you violate the confidence someone else has reposed in you. It is to deceive someone who has trusted you or to hurt someone who trusts you (such as a friend or relative) by not giving help or by doing something morally wrong against them. The act of betrayal is as old as man and it goes on in our world in different forms and shapes on a daily basis. It produces hurts, heartaches, depression, discord among brethren and so many other emotional imbalances that further societal disequilibrium.

BE FORTIFIED prt 2

The purpose of these words is not to instigate church members against their pastors or to encourage unnecessary arguments with church leadership. But wanted in this end time is the character of the church in Ephesus which knew the truth of God's word with which they tried false prophets, exposed lying apostles and unmasked fake pastors (Revelation 2:2). The Lord Jesus Christ was so proud of that church in this respect and promptly commended her for her spiritual vigilance. If you will not be deceived my dear friends, you have to take the time to study the Scriptures and get close to God. The hour has come when every believer must continually labour to have an inspired scriptural position on every topical issue that concerns the Christian faith and his walk with God. That is the way to beware of false prophets.

BE FORTIFIED prt 1

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" (Matthew 7:15-16).

The Bible makes it clear in many places that one of the things believers would have to contend with, particularly as we near the end of times is the rise of false prophets and fake pastors. The Lord Jesus Christ said it, warning that there would even be "false Christs" (Matthew 24:11, 24). Paul said it (2 Corinthians 11:13) and added that there would also be "false brethren" (Galatians 2:4). Peter warned us (2 Peter 2:1). And then, of course, apostle John warned us, urging us not to believe every spirit, but to "try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1).

WHICH ONE ARE YOU?

Potatoes, Eggs, and Coffee Beans
Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed.
Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot.
He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.
