SPIRITUAL ATTACK IS A REALITY - CHUKS LAWLESS

 SI
GNS OF SPIRITUAL ATTACK

Spiritual warfare is a reality (Eph. 6:10-20). Based on my years of studying this topic, here are some anecdotal signs of attack I’ve seen – particularly, if not primarily, on those Christian leaders who are taking steps of faith to get the gospel to a lost world:
(1) Unusual marital and family conflict. I’ve seen some of the healthiest homes face surprising strife when they take strong steps of obedience. Marriages are particularly a target.
(2) Recurring and uninvited temptations. For example, the man who has lived in purity for decades is shocked by past images that suddenly erupt in his head. Battles won long ago erupt again.
(3) Strong discouragement and defeat. One day, hope and faith resound; the next day, disbelief and struggle reign, at least temporarily. Nothing has changed, except the enemy is attacking.
(4) Crippling doubt. You may have been moving in faith for some time, but you begin to hear messages like, “God is not going to use you. You’re not going to make much difference.” The enemy’s goal is to get you to quit.
(5) Team disunity. From the Garden of Eden, Satan has sought to turn people against each other. A divided team doesn’t pose much threat to the enemy.
(6) Personal isolation. Under attack, even extroverts will sometimes withdraw in the battle. The problem is that leaders who fight battles alone most often lose.
(7) Changing focus. Satan has a way of turning faithful believers away from the blessings of obedience to the potential loss because of obedience. “Look at what you’re giving up,” he says.
(8) Prayer struggles. Sometimes, the leader who has always prayed diligently finds prayer unexpectedly difficult as he moves into the front lines. Prayerlessness equals powerlessness, and the enemy knows that fact.
(9) Reading distractions. The Word of God is the sword we use in the battle. Distractions that keep us from reading—including the “good” work of ministry at times—can be a tool of the enemy.
(10) Demon hunting. This one might be a surprise to you, especially given the topic of this post. But, if you come out of this reading and find a demon behind every rock – a demon that’s causing every issue you face – you’re likely under attack. Satan has a way of distracting us by claiming more power and influence than he really has.

TOTAL RECOVERY 2 - A.T JOEL

As with David, you can discover this life changing principles as you overcome the 3 D’s(Distress, debt, and discontent) following the
4 P’s of Praise, Prayer, Pursuit, and Power.

The law of God concerning a thief is clear in the Bible, and the word tells us that Satan is a thief and it says in Exodus 22:3,7, he must make full restitution for what he has stolen from you.

In 1 Sam 30:19, the bible says David recovered all, so shall it be for you in Jesus name.

This should stir a great faith to rise in your heart. You can start your own move toward total recovery as you enter into a new dimension of faith and blessing from this moment forward.

David lost everything except His faith, yet he recovered all.
God’s recovery, restoration, and abundance that the psalmist came to know throughout his life as expressed in Psalm 23.

DESTROYING THE POWER AND SPIRIT OF REPROACH - A. T Joel

Whatsoever that does not glorify God in your life is a reproach and it is your duty to take it to Him in prayer.

That situations that's against the plan of God for your life is a reproach that must be destroyed.

Reproach is what I called SSS (shame, Scorn and Sin). It has a devastating effect on anyone who allows it.

Paul preaches that we should give no space to the devil meaning every of his acts must cleared off our lives.

I can sense someone gearing up to pray with holy anger.

As a child of God,  you are under the law of new life anything short of a new anointing of unlimited of breakthrough is not of God and must totally destroyed.

10 TRAITS OF LEADERS WHO GIVES UP TOO EASILY - Dr Francis Akin-john

Leadership is not easy, and most of us get frustrated at some point. Leadership is almost always a thankless job. Some leaders, though, give up too easily. In the church world, some leaders spend their entire ministry giving up in one place and moving to the next. Here are some characteristics of those who give up too easily:

5 PILLARS THE DEVIL WANTS OUT OF EVERY LOCAL CHURCH - Dr Francis Akin John

There are only two churches the scripture recognizes: The local church-Matt.18;20, and the Universal church- Matt.16;18, every other church is for administrative convenience of man. The local church is the plan of God to win the world unto Himself and Jesus will surely come back to rapture a glorious, healthy local churches, within and without. Eph.5;26,27

APOSTOLIC WARNING TO PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS - Emma Omon

In Acts 20:18-20, Paul the Apostle warns Pastors and Church leaders saying "So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with his own blood —over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.  I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock. Even some men from your own group will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw a following" (NLT).

I have noticed that whenever a minister of God posts a message on social media warning the church against misleading teachings on grace some recruits quickly jump in with rude comments telling the poster to stop attacking grace message.

Grace and you - Emma Omon

The subject and the message of grace is increasingly becoming very controversial and polarizing especially among modern Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches and Ministries. I believe in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is central to a fulfilling and productive Christian living; and Christianity is meaningless without the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WHAT IS GRACE?

Some have defined grace as “God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense”. That’s powerful! Some have also defined grace as unmerited favour. That’s true! Others have defined grace as God’s willingness on our behalf. That’s also true! And if I may add, I’ll define grace as God’s enabling power. In the New Testament dispensation, grace is the ability we receive from God through faith in Christ to live the life that God intended for us.

TOTAL RECOVERY prt 1 - A.T Joel

David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.
And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.
1 Sam 22:1-2

Three tragic words literally jump out of our text today, distress, debt, and discontented. Everyone in David’s ragtag band of soldiers suffered from these three overwhelming challenges.

A comparison of the 3D collection of riffraff described in 1 Samuel 22 to the awe inspiring army found in 1 Samuel 30 must surely be one of the most amazing transformations of any group in history.

Over and over as David faced challenges against overwhelming odds, he found a way to keep himself from joining in with the 3-D choruses. At the same time, he was able to point his unlikely band of soldiers toward a better future, 1 Sam 30:6,8.

If God’s will for David was to recover everything that he lost, He is saying the same thing to you today.

There are many marvelous passages in God’s word that establish the fact  that God has promised restoration and abundance.

This means you regain all that has been stolen from you through the eternal work of the One with the name above every name, the Lord Jesus, Joel 2:23-26.
