TOTAL RECOVERY 2 - A.T JOEL

As with David, you can discover this life changing principles as you overcome the 3 D’s(Distress, debt, and discontent) following the
4 P’s of Praise, Prayer, Pursuit, and Power.

The law of God concerning a thief is clear in the Bible, and the word tells us that Satan is a thief and it says in Exodus 22:3,7, he must make full restitution for what he has stolen from you.

In 1 Sam 30:19, the bible says David recovered all, so shall it be for you in Jesus name.

This should stir a great faith to rise in your heart. You can start your own move toward total recovery as you enter into a new dimension of faith and blessing from this moment forward.

David lost everything except His faith, yet he recovered all.
God’s recovery, restoration, and abundance that the psalmist came to know throughout his life as expressed in Psalm 23.

David did not come into the glorious place where he could say ‘my cup runneth over’ until he discovered God’s plan for recovery. After that turning point, David was able to begin reigning.

Nothing is lost when you serve God. As the Lord promised us Matthew 19:29, God will command His blessings upon us when our commitments to Him is steadfast and true. Exodus 23:25.

As you abide in Christ, God will multiply everything you touch, keep your children safe, watch over your home, and drive the enemy away from you.

How do we know this? God’s word provides illustration after illustrations of restoration and abundance, let us see few before we proceed to see the 4 P’s of recovery.

JOB’S RECOVERY, Job 42:2,10,12
Think about Job, for example, who thought that he lost everything, yet he recovered all and more. Even though Job was at the lowest point, he prayed.
He trust in the Lord remained strong and true despite his circumstances. The Lord was pleased with Job, and nothing was lost by him.

PETER’S RECOVERY, Acts 2:1-4, 14,37-41
This is also evidence in Peter’s life, it was his decision when he denied Jesus, yet less than a hundred days later he preached on the Day of Pentecost and 3,000 people were born again. Peter denied the Lord, yet he recovered all.

Instead, after the Jesus resurrection, Peter saw the Lord on the shore from the boat. Jesus was busy cooking Peter’s breakfast, he jumped into the water and rushed over to Jesus.
The jews believed that meals reconciled people with one another; a meal said ‘I accept you’. So when Peter saw Jesus didn’t have to ask another question.
John 21:15 sums it up, Peter was total accepted and forgiven by the Lord. Recovery and restoration came with the forgiveness. Halleluyah.

THE PRODIGAL SON, Luke 15:11-13, 17, 20-24
Can you relate to the prodigal son’s story? What have you lost financially? Physically? in your family?
You may have believed that what you lost was gone forever, but it doesn’t have to be that way, Ephesians 4:23 promises that you can ‘be renewed in the spirit of your mind.’ you can choose to receive God’s grace and total recovery regardless of what was lost or how it was lost.
