THE GREATEST ASSASSIN OF ALL TIME

Let me tell you something: Every one of these careless words is going to come back to haunt you. There will be a time of Reckoning. Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words
can also be your damnation"  (Matthew 12:35-37, The Message).

Words are powerful indeed. What you say is what you get and what you keep saying is what you will keep getting. Our words define who we really are. What you say is who you are and what you keep saying will
ultimately determine who you become. So my beloved, be careful what you say and use your tongue wisely. Ensure that you mean what you say and that you say what you mean. Similarly, be sure that you really
want what you say and that you teach your tongue to say only the things you want.

God gave us words to help us create what we want in accordance with  His will for our lives. A fitting illustration is the scene of the valley of the dry bones where Ezekiel use words to turn around an impossible situation. In many years of counselling with people as a prophet, I have found out that the average person speaks more of his fears than his positive hopes. Someone might say, for instance, "I have a feeling that this project will not work out", or "I am thinking that this person will fail me or let me down". My typical response is to ask them, "Is that what you want?" Usually, they will say, "No." And then I would tell them to stop saying what they do not want.

I guess we all must enrol in the school of words, learning and training ourselves on how to use the right words to help us arrive at the right life. If what you are getting out of life is contrary to your dreams, you can change things by using the right words. The words that are most useful for us to help us get the best out of life are the words contained in the Bible. These are the words of God our Creator who molded us and knows us inside out. His timeless words are definitely well suited to the needs of our time.

As you look intently into the perfect law of liberty, may you find resources that will help you find peace with God, have joy with man, and provide you help in your hour of need. Above all, may those words of the Scriptures become transfixed to your lips so that henceforth, the living words of the living God will constantly pour forth out of your mouth instead of the words of men.
