IF YOU WANT TO PLEASE GOD

"Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God" (Hebrews 10:7).

The Christian who wants to please God must understand that the will of God we are talking about is principally unfolded to us in the provisions of the sacred Scriptures. Today's Scripture verse for meditation draws attention to the connection between what is 'written' and the 'will' of God.
The above Scripture explains the type of life that the Lord Jesus Christ came to live on the earth. Jesus came to do the will of God that is written concerning Him. This statement credited to Jesus in the realm of the spirit could be put this way: “Here I am, God. I have come to do what you want (your will), that is, what the book of your rules (the Scriptures) says about me”.
As we observed in our previous study, there are some things that are already clearly defined in the word of God.

Just the other day, I was sharing with a brother that there are some Scriptures that were very common in Christian communities in the world.
But God is only asking us to watch it, knowing that evil
companionship will corrupt good manners and endanger your spiritual wellbeing (1 Corinthians 15:33). If you doubt it, ask Amnon, the son of David. His story is our passage for further reading. Think about it. Reflect on what the Bible says and do the will of God. that seemed to have been expunged from the biblical volume of present day church. A case in point is the Scripture that warns us not to be "unequally yoked together with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14).
Today, unequal yoke with unbelievers is the order of the day. You find it in every facet of life of the contemporary Christian. From politics to business and marriage, today's Christian appears to see nothing wrong with unrestrained, uncensored and undiscerning fraternity with unbelieving folks. Watch it church, because the Bible still has it conspicuously
written that "the friendship of the world is enmity with God" (James 4:4).
Of course, God is not asking us to run away from every unbeliever because if that were to be so, the Christian would need to run out of the world.
But God is only asking us to watch it, knowing that evil
companionship will corrupt good manners and endanger your spiritual wellbeing (1Corinthians 15:33). If you doubt it, ask Amnon, the son of David. His story is ourpassage for further reading. Think about it. Reflect on what the Bible says and do the will of God.
