THE MINISTRY, WE HAVE DESPISED!

ACTS 5:5-16

The believers of yester-years spend their time, shaking the hand of God. Moving mountain through intercession. 

Peter would have died in prison if the brethren kept mute, in an accord they prayed, God sent His angel to liberate their leader.

Selfishness have ate deep into us, we are too concern about ourselves. The wealth will have today will soon diminish if we refused to pray.

The Scripture in 1 John 4:4 clearly says God in us is greater than everything in the world but we have failed to exercised this authority.

Jesus said whatsoever we asked in His name, God will grant us. Why keep quiet as some people hold us in the throat. 

Cursing our leaders will bring no progress.

John Knox asked that God should deliver Scotland to Him, Elijah alone brought down the reign of Ahab.

We are no longer doing the ministry of intercession, we have being carried away with self. The 'I' mentality is killing.

Do you know that some parents don't even pray for their children. Why did we abandon one of our major responsibilities.

If Jesus said we are the light of the world, He meant we are game changer, we are not thermostat but  catalyst.

Our existence should change situations. We are disappointing God if we keep quiet or join others to prophesy evil to this nation.

Nigerian is not evil, our economy will work again, our leaders will lead us right. The saboteurs will repent and work for the greatness of our dear nation, Andy Ubah is already doing this.

If the Holy Spirit kept interceding for us as recorded in Romans 8:26-27, why are we not doing the same for our nation and our brethren. 

Let me show you list of scripture on intercession... 2 Cor 1:11, Phillipians 1:19, Psalm 122:6, 1 Timothy 2:1, Ephesians 6:8, Romans 10:1, James 5:14.

Having said this, without us doing this simple task we are disappointing God. We can decide the destiny of  Nigeria if we are return to this ministry we had despised.
